Helping Children & Youth Transition to New Environments

Larissa and Evelyn bring over 25 years of collective experience working first hand with children and youth, their parents and educators, in a variety of school settings. This conversation will largely focus on easing concerns, and enhancing an overall understanding about how parents can best navigate the school system, particularly during key transition periods. The good news is that schools are getting better at recognizing and supporting students who have vulnerable mental health needs. The even better news is that parent advocacy, along with strong agency support, is what is driving the improvements. We’re in it together.
