Wendy has an MA in Counselling Psychology from UBC and is a Canadian Certified Counsellor.
She has been a counsellor and instructor at Kwantlen Polytechnic University in Surrey since
1997. In addition to having counselled thousands of teenagers and young adults during that time,
she is the mother of a 16- and 21-year old, and so she experiences the agonies and ecstasies of
this life stage every day, from a parent’s perspective as well as from a professional one.
