Our immune systems evolved over hundreds of thousands of years to protect us from infections. But given the rapidly changing habitats for humans, our immunity ins now not always matched to our environment, leading to instances where immune cells can cause disease. This session explores how immunity goes awry and how immunology research has produced life changing treatments.
