Parent Training for disruptive behaviour in young children with autism spectrum disorder

Objectives: At the conclusion of the presentation, participants will be able to: 1. Describe the essential components of a structured, six-month Parent Training (PT) program for children with ASD; 2. Describe the primary results of the randomized clinical trial of Parent Training (PT) versus Parent Education (PEP) in 180 children with ASD. 3. Describe the underlying models for Parent Training in children with ASD.
